Wow, Dustin Johnson with 3 eagles on his scorecard today, first time in Masters history.

And he had a birdy on the par 5 13. Anyone know how close he was to making eagle on 13?

Too bad for the double he got on 1

Out of it at 3 over after nine then went 5 under on the back nine and that included a missed 3 footer.

He's a strong favourite for second unless Spieth meltdowns x 2.

Nice. Tiger is paired with Sergio tomorrow. Too bad their round will be half over by the time coverage starts.

Augusta National is turning into a joke, A 21 year old is 14 friken under after 2 rounds and 27 others are under par...ridiculous. I have been watching the masters since the early 80's and have never seen players throwing darts at the pins as I do now.

If they can't keep it hard and fast they better start growing some rough. place now looks like a pitch and putt course.

While I agree that major championships should have the toughest conditions, are the stats showing that the scores are much lower this year? At first glance it appears so, but would be curious to see a comparison. Take Spieth out of the field and its possible everything is fairly normal for half way point. I know the scores were a little lower last year- didnt Bubba win with a -8. A lot of them will back up this weekend as I think they will make the course much firmer today.

Also, as great of a course as Augusta National is, they can't control mother nature

Tiger with a duck hook on 13 tee. He is going to take some criticism for his expletives for sure. Another couple F-bombs

Spieth doubles 17 and as I write this Rose birdies 18 to get into the final pairing.

Is Spieth letting everyone back in it? Approach to 18 is way right

Spieth's incredible performance this week is making this Sunday at the Masters a bit boring.

Spieth in Tiger Woods 2005 territory on 16. Would be amazing if he replicates it. Either way, he has room to make a couple bogeys

I don't know, the crowning of a new, young, uber superstar is pretty cool. Plus it works as a pretty awesome set up for a few years of young American vs Irish superstars.
