Nights like these I'm glad I have center ice. So nerve racking.
I hope that Ferland-Granlund-Jooris line catches fire and provides a secondary attack, right when it counts.

If this was an option, I would vote for mod only polls

I believe Minnesota clinches with a win tonight so that may provide some motivation for the Wild.

I don't think any team has every missed the playoffs with 43 wins. We could conceivably miss with 44 or 45, although, we're most likely in with 45.

Boycotting due to lack of "Calgary finishes 2nd in the Pacific" option.

I said 2nd wild card.
We will probably lose to "Playoff Beast Mode" LA and then I'm being optimistic in hoping Calgary can beat the Jets in Winnipeg.

For me the X-factor vs. LA is that the dome is going to be absolutely on fire on Thursday. If somehow the Flames end up with a chance to clinch that night, I think they do it. And then the Jets game is meaningless.

It's a huge game for the wild. Win and they are in. Lose and they may only be 2 points up on a playoff spot with games at Chi, Nas and Stl to finish up.

I hope you're right and I could see that happening too but I can't forget how LA walked all over us the last time we played. It was like men against timbits.

If I made a prediction, I have a feeling LA gets in as the #2 seed and Calgary as the #3 seed, and Vancouver dropping to the #2 WC seed. Vancouver isn't looking so good right now.

They have 4 points pretty much guaranteed in their last two games though so I can't see them dropping.

One thing about the Canucks, is they seem to win the games you'd expect them to lose, and lose games you'd think they should win.
It would be pretty funny if they dropped 5 straight at the end of the season to miss the playoffs, especially with the last two games against the 28th and 29th place teams in the league.
Doubt it will happen though.

Kind of scares the crap out of me that LA has been as clutch as you can get the past 3 years, and Darryl pulling his wizardry time and time again.
Praying to the god of every single religion that Minnisota and St Louis don't take their foot off the pedal against the Peg...
Or.... hoping Vancouver tanks hard enough to fall out of the playoffs all together.... wouldn't put it past them

I didn't even notice that they had AZ and Edmonton as their last 2 games after LA.
Yeah, they won't be a WC.

We will take the last playoff spot, and then railroad Anaheim.
That's just the way it's going to be.

Hoping we win the next 2 and winnipeg goes 0-2 in their B2Bs on the road against MIN + STL and the final game of the season means nothing.

Really hoping LA doesn't make it and Ottawa does. That would be every Canadian team in except Edmonton, which I find hilarious.
Flyers are out so I'm all aboard the Flame Train!

Let's not forget that the Flames are 3-1 vs. LA this year.
