So far Treliving's UFA signings are turning out to be no good.

They had two days rest for crying out loud. They just stunk up the joint simple as that.

Hiller to thank.

But, if the Flames are going to play a style where they hang on for as long as possible, and have lines 2-4 fill in minutes waiting for the 1st line to get back out there in a one goal game, players on lines 2-4 can't afford lazy drop passes in their own zone to no one, and then leaving their guy open 45 seconds later after the puck never gets out of the zone due to the first error by the same player.

I'm all for the Bennett camp...he's got 9 games, lets see his energy and spark, for a game or two in the last 4.

The Oilers game is a no brainer for a win, but can't dare let even a point slip out of that game or we're right behind the 8 ball. Classic trap game, too.

Not even slightly bothered by anything that happened tonight, bar the goal by Monahan.

The Blues dominate us each and every time we play them. We did better tonight than we did in the previous 2, was close in terms of the score for most of the game. Not bothered by the play of Raymond, Backlund, Colborne etc. Perfect chance for them to get their offensive confidence back in the next 2. Hopefully the entire team can get zoned in and really get their tails up in time for the Kings game, which is looking like the do or die game for us.

Move on and get ready to hopefully sweep the Oilers series on Saturday.

Yeah, Blues play like the best team in the league against us, but are garbage against the other playoff teams. They'll be out in the first round again.

Brutal. The flames just completely out matched. Need to gain some momentum against Edmonton and Arizona.

Cheer up boys, St. Louis is our kryptonite. We can challenge any other team but the Blues. We beat LA, Boston (in their home) and several other heavy hitters.

It's a game of matchups and St. Louis simply has our number.

They're a great team, and your enduring, pessimistic attitude toward the Flames is disappointing. Hemi wrote the team off after the last loss and you flat out said he was right. Why are you still here?

Default Flames fall 4-1 to the Blues

That Bolig hit was just so dumb. Gets back in the lineup after a few games, and responds with awful penalty that hurts the team. Really too bad Byron reaggravated his ankle injury.

Very weak goal by Hiller in the first but he was the reason the game didn't get out of hand. He still has to eliminate his weak starts regardless how well he plays the rest of the game because it puts the team into a different mode right off the hop.

Realistically, Calgary was expected to lose this game anyway, so forget it and move on.

I know this is common knowledge, but Good Lord, the Oilers are terrible.

Yeah can't wait for Bollig to be scratched the rest of the season and Ferland in instead.

Actually thought Raymond was good and the best guy in his line. Don't see the reason for hate. Thought actually the first line wasn't as good as usual, Backlund's whole line was dull, including Bouma. The defence wasn't that good other than Wideman (!). Schlemko was okay, but the rest made plenty of bad passes. Stajan played OK as well.
