Soon to be beaten.

Kristen Odland @KristenOdlandCH
Hitchcock gave a great bit about Airdrie native Ty Rattie naming his dog Kipper after Mikka Kiprusoff. A long-time #Flames fan, of course

Blues seems to be playing around with their D pairings:

Jeremy Rutherford@jprutherford4m4 minutes ago

Pietrangelo will start the game with Bouwmeester. Hitch said there's a chance that Shattenkirk could play with Pietrangelo at some point.

I must admit, the Schlemko-Diaz pairing against the Blues could lead to our downfall. They've been better lately and the Blues are resting some of the bigger guns, but still, that pairing can be dynamic but scary.

Wow, that's amazing. They can tie the those old Flames teams? This rebuild is fun.

Flames win 5-3. Both Monahan and hudler get their 30th goals. Gaudreau with 3 points. Colborne gets a goal too.

22 out of 41 games doesn't seem like all that great of a record to be all time.

This line needs to start producing. Colborne & Raymond were on fire at the start of the year. Can't really fault Granlund through, he has been up and down from Adirondack

Winning on the road is hard.

Best this season is NYR with 23. I guess everyone sucks on the road.

NYR has 25, and both Anaheim and Vancouver have 24. Eight teams currently have 22 or more wins on the road. It's not that hard if 30% of the teams do it every year...

It was a lot more difficult in 1989 when there were 5 on 5 overtimes and no shootouts.

I was using ROW, and just because 8 teams do it doesn't make it easy. 16 teams make playoffs and no one says making playoffs is easy.

Plus let's be honest... This org has been bad to average at best for a long, long time.

In my life time, I don't know what it feels like, to be a fan of a contending team that is expected to, and does compete deep into the playoffs every year.

Don't forget ties. Now there are no such thing as ties.

Since the New Year:

Colborne-
38 GP
4 G (1 in last 29)
11 A

Raymond-
32 GP
7 G (1 in last 19)
7 A

Not good enough at all. These guys coming to life in this last stretch could be the difference between locking down a spot and missing out.
