What would you do?

We booked a cruise at the end of February for December this year. The cruise was quite cheap because they were offering kids (or 3rd/4th guest) sail free. We'll be spending 2 nights in Miami before the cruise and 1 night there after the cruise. I haven't checked out hotels yet but I'm expecting that cost will be pretty high. Flights were booked with Aeroplan miles so that saved us a few bucks as well.

Outside of that and having a large spruce tree removed from our yard this summer I'm trying not to spend money too haphazardly. Purchasing a travel trailer this year was previously contemplated but likely won't happen now.

I had planned to take the summer off and take the kids somewhere for some quality time. Was originally planning an overseas trip, but with the economy, thinking of being less ambitious and renting a condo or something in Vancouver or along the west coast and just being close the ocean.

Did a vacation to California over spring break that cost more than would have liked.
