I hear this so much from Canuck fans as if the Canucks are lock and can choose their opponent.
I'd be interested in the reactions if the Flames bump the Canucks out of the playoffs in the final day of the regular season.

Someone needs to keep track of the teams that are comfortably in the playoffs and how often they start their backup goalie when playing the Jets or the Flames.
I guarantee you Boudreau said what they're all thinking. They don't want the Kings to make it. If I were Laviolette, I'd start the backup too. Oh look! We're losing to the Flames. Darn.

The team showed up and deserved the win. Great effort.

The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
Huge win! Now we just need to find a way to beat the Benn/Seguin show tomorrow night and we'll be sitting pretty. The Flames really seem to struggle against Dallas, but if they can play like they did today, they'll be ok. Just need some help on the OOT tonight. Go Hawks!
A different team without Weber and Renne for sure, but still a well fought game. The fact the Preds have only lost 5 (6 now) games at home is huge for this teams confidence.
Is it just me or is Brodie still trying to do way to much and hanging onto the puck too long?
I'd rather he hang on to it too long than give it to Engelland in most cases. He's struggled but that's to be expected without Gio and having to carry a 6/7 d-man as his partner playing top 4 mins.

Really? The "No Giordano" seemed as noticeable to me as the "No Weber". Pretty drab comments after such a big win.

Great effort by the Flames.
(i) Ferland pots his first and plays a good game.
(ii) Hudler is a point machine
(iii) Bouma is both a beast and a scoring machine
(iv) Impressive 4th line performance.
(v) Our goalie was better than their goalie.
Also, congrats to the Flames on their 41st win of the season! I don't think anyone expected this team to win half their games this year. Hopefully they can make it 47.
