I'd rather have Vancouver win in regulation. It's too late for the Canucks to miss the playoffs. It's better to make sure Arizona finishes below edmonton.

It is never ok to wish for a Canucks win...except when they play LA this year.

While I can agree with your logic, Mike, I have to say that a Canuck loss is always a pleasing experience.

Boy, Arizona is a really bad team. Doan in particular has really lost a step.

The annoyance factor of edmonton getting a top 2 pick is too high for me. Don't worry about the Canucks, I have a fool proof way to deal with them in the playoffs. I just draft all their guys in my playoff pool. Works every time.

The guy is 38 and wasn't exactly a burner in his prime. The build of the team was always flawed as they lack talent down the middle and I'm still waiting for a good explanation why they didn't try harder to make things work out with Kyle Turris.

By no means do I like the Canucks, but I do respect what Willie Desjardins has been able to do with that team this year.
I doubt too many people had Winnipeg and Vancouver both making the playoffs. I can't imagine anyone had those two and the Flames in the playoffs.
Also of note is just how much trouble Boston is in right now. Ottawa is 1 point back with two games in hand. Boston won the Presidents trophy last year and may not make the playoffs this year. This is a big time decline for the Bruins. I doubt any so called expert would have picked both Boston and LA to be outside of the playoffs.

I think it will come down to the Flames or the Kings getting the last playoff spot. I just don't see the Nucks (puke), Jets or Wild folding down the stretch.
