Still gained a point on LA who lost. 2 points clear and we hold the tie-breaker. Tied with Winnipeg, who play tonight (I think we hold the tie-breaker there too). Only 2 points back of Vancouver (they have a game in hand, but we hold the tie-breaker there too). Pretty crappy final 30 minutes but still, that point is huge.

This is becoming a one line team. Guys like Backlund, Jones, and Raymond need to step up.

What did Wideman do wrong today? Didn't see anything wrong about him

Considering how much Russell has stepped up since we lost Gio, I think we can give him a pass on one mistake guys

He didn't have brain aneurysm level giveaways, but he's guilty of attempting to blast a puck through like 4 sets of shinpads on the PP when a pass to a clear lane was available.

This was a game where the Flames really needed some secondary scoring. Top line looked tired towards the end of the game and in OT.

He's cost Wotherspoon a rookie season and that might cost us the playoffs.

Don't expect Raymond to step up any time soon. He's terrible and cost us Sven Baertschi.

Really would have liked to see one more goal when we had 5 PP chances and only scoring on one.

Also, that post on Mono...ARGH!!!

The people piling on Russell in here are being ridiculous considering how big he's played ever since Giordano went down.

We gain a point. Calm the #### down.

The important takeaway from today is that we picked up one point and LA got none.

I've been extremely impressed with Russell since Giordano went down. Stupid play may have cost the Flames the game and a point tonight, but he's made enough impressive plays through this last couple games. Heck, without him they never get a point in Ottawa.

The guys who needed to step up have, the top line, the remaining top 4, it's time we see some of the more depth players here down the stretch.

It sucks that they ran into a hot goalie at the wrong possible time. And that play by Russell was just pure bad luck. But the bottom line is that 1 point is not good enough in a game like this with playoffs on the line. The Flames need to beat the cellar dwellers if they want to continue playing past April 11th. Calgary completely dominated for a good 50 minutes. Jackets had no business being in this game whatsoever. This game would have ended 5-1 Flames if not for Bobrovsky.

Bj's goal tending was better than ours. I wouldn't put the blame on Russell.

Id doubt Wotherspoon would help the flames make the playoffs over Engs.
