Going with a group of 10 friends and most of us took the day off tomorrow.

Not expecting a good result. Niether on the scoreboard or for my liver.

I like Hiller as the choice tonight. Ramo looked a little shaky last game, so hopefully tonight won't be one of Hiller's bad nights.

Looks like Johnny's sister had her baby:

I'm an uncle! #bestuncleever. congrats @kmgaudreau and @Gandhi_Burger
Since players always seem to have big games and score a goal when they become a father, does that mean Johnny's going to rack up a bunch of assists tonight for becoming an uncle?

Play rope-a-dope. Once Hitchcock puts Jackman on the ice, use the stretch pass. Corsi in ruins.

Just to show the weight on tonight's game.

By end of tomorrow, we could either be sitting out of the playoffs, or above 3 teams and solidly in 2nd in the Pacific

I definitely see why some have the doom and gloom feeling the way things look tonight, and yeah maybe we lose and end up on the outside looking in because of no help tonight.

At the end of the day though, I'm looking over the rest of the season to not drive myself too crazy. 7 wins of the remaining 13 should be enough to get us in. Looking at the schedule, I have this one pegged as one we can lose, even if it puts us on the outside temporarily.

I'm still going to predict a 5-3 W for us on a solid bounce back game on a couple days rest. When we win tonight, bonus, and if not, that's okay too, because it's not as bad as it'll look.

Bouwmeester is getting top pairing icetime and responsibility for one of the best teams in the league, with one of the deepest blue lines in the league, for a coach that demands as much or more defensive ability from his players as any coach in the league.

By all means, let's celebrate the great performance that Russell has put on this season. But using it as a jumping off point to criticize Bouwmeester is ridiculous.

His selection for, and performance on, the last Olympic team should put to rest any myths about him not being a top defenseman in the league and/or him folding under pressure.
