Horrible play by Hutchinson that Pardy almost saved.
Also, Myers has left the game. I don't like to see that. He was in some pain when he hit the net.

Pacioretty has both Habs goals, on the power play and shorthanded. Karlsson has scored for Ottawa, 2-1 Montreal in the second period.

Bergeron scores for Boston to give them a 2-1 lead.

Here's my question: shouldn't that have been an unassisted Boyes goal given that it was directed in by Pardy? They gave out assists.
This is extremely important to me for pool-related reasons.

Jesus. Why couldn't the Pens quit against us the way they have against Edmonton? 4-3 now.

How does Eberle end up with a phantom assist on the Oilers first goal? Lander dishes off to Nugent-Hopkins who fires a shot on goal and the rebound is put in the net by Lander. Shouldn't have been a secondary assist on that goal.

If I had a guess, it would be because Pardy never had control of the puck. Pretty much treated as the same as any other deflection off a defender, even if it deflected off him three times.

I didn't see the play but based on your description I'm guessing Eberle passed it to Lander initially, in which case he'd get the secondary assist.
Same situation as Gaudreau's second goal last night. Gaudreau and Wideman played give and go twice, but Russell gets the secondary assist as he gave it to Wideman initially.
