Vancouver, I want Calgary to get 3rd place and start on the road. Continue the underdog role.
And it helps Calgary make the playoffs in general.

Vancouver 2-1. I'd like to see the Jets make it in too. I like Canadian teams, except when they are blatant divers or play a crappy style to watch (like Montreal when they rope a doped Washington)..

Cheering for Vancouver but I bet that 2 of the 3 games go into extra time.

I believe if it came down to head to head the Flames have won the season series against all division opponents except the Ducks, so no. That said, The Canucks have a better ROW than the Flames which is the first tie breaker, where as LA does not. But of course, that partially reflects our current state in the standings and is subject to change.

This.
If LA squeaks in, it'll be in wildcard spot #2, displacing the Jets. So I wouldn't mind LA bringing Van down a peg so we can pass them and get us some home ice.
But I won't complain if Van takes the Kings out a couple times for everyone else in the race.
Just no shootout or OT bs, please and thanks.

Why not into PC2 or PC3, displacing the Flames? Are the Flames a lock?
Seriously this all seems like tempting fate to me... superstitious of course, but still.

I am going to be so pissed if 2/3 games go into extra time but this is the time of year where teams play for points late in close games.

It's pretty much a guarantee that at least one of the three games goes into OT. I am however hoping for 3 regulation wins for the Canucks. Hoping we get the Flames in round 1 too.

This. Plus for purely selfish reasons I will out of town the first week the playoffs are suppose to start. So starting on the road really help me. As a STH I hope the Flames can accommodate.

If not, I'll gladly take your tickets off your hands. You wouldn't want them to go to waste, would you?

If Vancouver wins all 3, it almost guarantees the Flames into the playoffs and a Calgary vs Canucks first round.
As much as I hate the Canucks winning any games, that scenario would be amazing!

Yeah, VAN winning all three is a much better situation for us I think. At this point, if we stay ahead of LA, we are in and playing VAN in round 1 That's the ideal situation (not considering home ice advantage of course).

This is massively overstating it. The Kings could lose all three, and still comfortably go 9-5-2 for 97 points and end 2nd in the PAC. The Canucks could win all three and still go 8-8-0 for 96 points and a WC spot. It helps, probably more than the opposite, but it guarantees absolutely nothing.

If the Kings lose the three, then they'd have to go 9-2-2 in the other games to get to 9-5-2. That's anything from "comfortable".
And that also assumes Vancouver goes 5-8-0 in their other games to end at 8-8-0.
I'd peg that as a very unlikely scenario.

It's unfortunate that in these situations, it usually ends up that both teams end up play to not lose, instead of playing to win. It almost always ends up in three pointers.

Those overall records are totally plausible. In each case, they're three games out of sixteen. Losing those three is no less plausible than losing any other three. The only part that's unlikely is that all three games are won by the same team, which is what this thread presumes in the first place.

Since right now it looks like it's either Jets or Kings in the playoffs, I'd rather go with the Jets.
Winnipeg is a team that needs some success to have any chance of attracting players, plus it's a city that would love to see playoffs.
Also, it would be an easier opponent should they make the second round (Which they won't.)
