Really surprised Ramo gets the start after Hiller nearly back stopped the comeback against Ottawa. Ramo had been on fire up until Ottawa but I think he falters when his workload gets too much (as does Hiller). Seems like a good time to let Hiller have a stretch.

After the Ottawa game I kind of assumed Hiller would statr, but on rethinking I'm pretty good with Ramo, based on Hiller's record against the Ducks, Ramo's play in all but the Ottawa game and Hartley's magic goalie sense.

Ramo is good when he plays somewhat regularly, but gets ample rest. Same with Hiller. Neither goalie has played in 2 full days, so both should be fine for tonight. Hartley has traditionally gone with whichever goalie is hotter or looks better in practice. If it's simply the latter, I have faith in Hartley's judgement. The former is pretty self evident.

Hiller has lost three straight to Anaheim. It actually makes perfect sense that they're starting Ramo.

Ready to rumble if someone hits Gaudreau from behind again. We got manhandled last time at home.
Wish McGrattan was in the lineup.

For those PVRing the game, make sure you do the SN Flames channel as they only have a 2.5hr time slot for the Buf-Tor game on SNW that will surely run into our game.

Considering they will go 0-0 with 26 rounds of shootout, yeah.

Would rather have the Flames face Andersen, Gibson is playing great lately. I can see Gibson shutting down the Flames and having a great game today maybe allowing 1 goal or a shutout. Hope I am wrong!

Boblieve
If it means we have to beat them 2-1 in a shootout, then so be it.

Yeah there's that. But the last time he played Calgary he allowed 3, and had a <.900 SP. He hasn't played in over a week, and the last time that happened he got lit up with 3 on 18.
It could go several ways.

I'm gonna be trapped on a plane or in a car for the better portion of tonight, so I'm missing the game. I'm free from camp life, but I guess being updated on here and twitter/NHL app is better than nothing.

To be fair Lookout (or look-out) is a word, but it doesn't mean what he thinks it means..

Would love to get a point in this game (clearly 2 of course) as it's technically the 3rd toughest game left on the Flames schedule behind road games in Nashville and St. Louis. Toronto game on Friday is the easiest game left on their schedule
