I say just go with the DST offset all year round. That way we get the benefit of longer evenings, but without this outdated practice of changing clocks twice a year.

It seems that most people prefer evening light over morning light, dislike the unnecessary change to their sleep pattern, and could do without the hassle of changing clocks.

Came in for faux outrage about International Women's Day being only 23 hours long. Left disappointed.

Well that's just perfect, I bet someone somewhere thinks we are trying to send women a message.

"You can literally have to most insignificant day of the year. So Insignificant you only get 23 hours."

LOL

I must be getting old because I'm liking the extra hour of light at night more than I'm hating my alarm technically going off an hour earlier.

Are people really that bent out of shape for losing one hour over the weekend? I have a hard time believing one hour would mess up anyone's internal clock - its just all in their minds. I really doubt it actually would make a difference if it happened without you knowing about it.

"Oh jeez - its almost 5pm already? I would have thought it was only 4. Guess I better start dinner"

I'm guessing you don't have kids. Or if you do, they don't follow any routine whatsoever.

My dog has already figured out the time change. He gets fed at 8 PM, and last night at 8:03 he came to get me to prepare his dish.
