With Giordano out and Glencross traded, who will be the third "A"?

Personally, I see Monahan, Backlund or Wideman having the best chance. Of course, they could go the Dustin Boyd route and give it to someone we didn't project.

Wouldn't they just go to the players that have worn it through the season? Hudler, Backlund and Stajan have all worn it when injuries occurred.

my other choice for an "A" would be Lance Bouma

I would definitely get on the band wagon for Bouma, he does everything asked and more and sacrifices his body day in and day out.

I think the second "A" should be earned based on effort and room leadership. Few of us really know the dynamics in the room. I don't so I can't say who "should" get it.

This is exactly what I came in to post. For example who foresaw the A going to Russell at the beginning of the year? Still fun to speculate though.

All I know is that Monahan will have the C one day.

I think it'll be Backlund, but I've gone with Monahan. Only a matter of time before he wears a letter. He's already pretty vocal and you can see how much his teammates respect him.

I like the idea of rotating the 3rd A until Gio comes back. Might spark a guy. It might not.

I would be happy with Backlund, Brodie or Monahan.
I wouldn't be mad with Stajan or Bouma either.
Not sure about Wideman though...

I think Backlund and Brodie are highest chance for higher production if an A. Just pure feel.
