Great. Perfect example of why stats shouldn't be the only thing we rely on.
Everyone knows that Gio is by far the best and most important player on the team. Doesn't matter at all at this point. He can't play. The team is going to have to step it up around him and I think, of all Flames teams in recent memory, this one is the most likely candidate to be able to pull something like this off. Not cause of talent but cause of resolve.
But I guess in the world of hockey talk as it is today, things like "resolve" and "spirit" and "work ethic" don't matter. "OUR BEST CORSI PLAYER JUST WENT DOWN." Lets just forefit the season then
