The Hansen dive in the Canucks game was Oscar worthy. I can't blame Lucic for being upset. Sad commentary on the Canucks for a display of that kind. Lucic's hockey stick was closer to his waist than his face, and the "embellishment" was a disgrace.

Second angle looks like there might have been some contact. Ill give Hansen a pass on that one.

I did not realize they were so close. I would love to see McDavid go to Arizona.

I wouldn't be surprised if McDavid ended up a Leaf. They are rapidly falling.

Doughty just threw a nasty slewfoot on Datsyuk while both were racing for a puck behind the net, no call on the play but it looked very blatant, intentional, and dirty to me

He got hit in the face with a stick? They called the wrong guy, that's all.

The real refereeing complaint should be that they missed a penalty shot on a gloved hand in the crease. Saw the GIF on HFBoards. Not sure how that got missed in game when refs are presumably keeping an eye on the puck to see if it goes in (though I only saw overhead angle).

Lot of low scoring games tonight in the West race. Looks like LA / DET will either be 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1.

LA wins their 8th in a row to move 2 points ahead of the Flames with a game at hand.

just find this funny - Roy pulled the goalie with 11 minutes left in the 3rd while on the PP .. so nashville got an shorthanded EN goal 8:28 into the 3rd period..

I actually think it would have made more sense to do it if there WASN'T a power play. Don't give them a free shot at the EN; guys are much more hesitant to waste one down there if it's icing if they miss.

Not surprised by the play of the Kings. It was only a matter of time before they found thier groove

Sadly that puts a dent in the Flames playoff hopes. In the end I expect the Flames will have to beat out both the Wild and the Sharks to get that last playoff berth.
