Just a loss. To one of the best teams in the NHL. I wouldn't lose your minds about it.

Doesn't excuse us from giving a 2 goal lead away with a pathetic performance

It's disappointing but just the Ducks being the Ducks.

Up 2-0 at home and really needing the 2 points before this mega road trip...ouch. Huge loss!

On the plus side, Monahan's 20th goal and 40th point on the year.

This end of the world mentality after every loss surprises me. Everything is pure gravy this season. Team is exceeding all preconceived expectations of them this year.

I don't care if they miss the playoffs, I'm just happy with the fact that they've beaten teams in their barn after not winning in them for so long, bucking long standing winning streaks against the Flames. The emergence of so many young players, couple with steady play from vets is fun to watch.

Highlight for me so far this year, coming back against the Bruins who were something stupid like 91-0-1 or something when leading after third. To blemish that streak AND get a W against the Bruins who have, let's be honest, spanked the Flames routinely in their sparse meetings is utterly fantastic.

This is a fun season, even if they limp home down the stretch. No one can deny this season has shown s all the progression we need to see when going through a re-build.

Flames had a lacklustre third but I still don't think the Ducks deserved a W this game.
If that's what the mighty ducks have to show then color me unimpressed.

Again, we should not accept losing 2 goal leads not scoring on numerous powerplays including a 5 on 3

Not a 3rd period that we've been accustomed to see in these Flames. Asleep at the wheel with a huge opportunity to separate from the playoff logjam. Hope this is a wake up call going into an extended road trip.

True, just sucks that SJ and LA play each other tomorrow. Tied with SJ and LA is only 2 points behind us. Big, big road trip ahead.

They've blown more than one lead. They were up 2-1 on the Kings last time and got blown out. They were up a goal on the Panthers too in the 3rd I think and lost.

Going into the 3rd but not the first blown lead, period. We've done that more than once.

Roger Millions @RogMillions
#Flames Bob Hartley. Says it was his teams worst 3rd period of the year. His team at times "kind of fell apart."

I'll see you that game and raise you the almost single-handed Gaudreau comeback against the Kings.

Teams blow leads. It's part of hockey. Doesn't matter how good of a team you are or aren't.

How is my caring if they lose or not going to change anything? I love watching the games and letting the chips fall where they may. Like I said, pretty much all of my expectations have been met with this team this year. They've shown me enough to grant them a fair bit of emotional distance with losses. Playoffs would be the cherry on top but I don't really care to invest too much emotionally if they stumble. It's a game.

Just like they should. The modum operandi from Hartley and company is just have fun with this. Don't get caught up in the chase and take everything so seriously. something some fans should take into consideration.
