Basically the only other option to watch the fight in Vegas, rather than being there live. MGM has exclusive rights to televise the fight and have commissioned a select number of theatres/stages/bars that are allowed to show it. In other words, you can't just wander into a random bar and watch the fight on PPV. You have to view it in designated viewing areas. In our case, we are watching it in one of the ballrooms in Mandalay Bay.
About 50,000 of these tickets were released the other day, and were sold out in a few hours.

I would just call around. You may want to ask if they are charging a cover as well. I bet they do, and then just give you a $20 voucher, or whatever the cover will be.

Is it unusual that this fight isn't available to order online? I've never ordered boxing online but I'm surprised that you have to have cable to see the ppv.

I have come to ask this very question? Is anyone aware of a legal online ppv option? We are overseas, and our local HBO does not offer any ppv option and was hoping to purchase the PPV online. I am sure there will be a few of the pirate sites with streaming options but I would prefer to pay the fee and have a reliable source.

If you're in Vegas and have money to blow, tickets to the fight might be there at face value or below. Resellers unsurprisingly are struggling to turn all these tickets around in a week.
Quote:
More than 30 tickets sold early Friday on StubHub as of 9:45 a.m. ET for an average price of $3,899. That's compared to 156 tickets that sold for an average of $800 more on Thursday ($4,693). Perhaps the most troubling sign for those selling tickets is that 10 tickets sold for less than the investment in the ticket, after fees.
One broker Friday was offering to sell a block of 13 seats, with a $5,000 ticket value, for $5,100 each.
There are currently more than 1,000 tickets on the online resale market and untold amounts of seats available on the ground in Las Vegas.
Glenn Healy needs to show these guys some respect. During the Montreal/TB broadcast he said "it's a welterweight fight. That's not fight but a couple of guys slapping each other."

I would contribute to a purse to watch Healy fight either of these guys if someone started a crowd-source of some kind.

I have not seen any way to legally buy this online. Seems crazy to me.
