I got home from work just in time to see Toffoli's goal (and I HAVE seen that bump move by Carter called goaltender interference on others, but not tonight)...and see Doughty tackle Kruger, who hadn't yet played the puck (and I HAVE seen that called interference, but not tonight)...and see a King D-man Water ski while holding Shaw's stick, as Shaw was pursuing a dump in (and I have seen that called "holding the stick", but not tonight)
I have ranted before that a call in the 1st ten minutes of a game is STILL a call in the last ten...and should be made.
But, the 'Hawks needed to bury the Kings when they had a chance...and they blew it...
Sorry Flames' fans, my guys didn't get it done.

Make no mistake the Kings are going to be nearly impossible to keep out of the playoffs.
Regardless of difficult schedule, that's a team that understands and knows how to turn it up another notch when necessary. Perhaps better than any other team in the NHL in that regard.
Flames are going to be in tough.

The Kings may or may not be able to get it together, but obviously it's pretty likely they will dig in and get it done. I still think it's the Canucks, Sharks or Jets we need to unseat, even if the Jets have gottem themselves a nice little cushion.

It's amazing that the Leafs had the lead, van Riemsdyk opened the scoring midway through the 3rd period. Like Kootenay posted earlier, the game was a moldy sandwich. Nice to know the Leafs can't score much.

The Capitals took it to the Penguins with OV being the star along with Holtby who gets the SHUTOUT. He stopped all 27 shots while Fleury faced 36 shots in the loss. The Bhawks-Kings game had everything and some playoff feel. Too bad the Bhawks lost it in reg time. Sucks for Flames fans but Jets fans must be happy with the result. The highlights show Kane's goal was deja vu from 2 years and it was virtually identical.

Watching Sportsnet Central, at the end of the show Carly Agro says it's a busy Thursday on Sportsnet as the Habs are playing the Rangers, Bruins at Rangers, Wild at Flames, and Ducks at Sharks. She forgot about the Sabres at Oilers game. LMAO.

Actually, I think Sabres-Oilers could be a pretty entertaining game. No doubt the players want to win the game to avoid being the kings of losers.

That's assuming either team has any pride.
