Favorite - Gio - does everything right, and well, with no games off.
least favorite: Engelland - kinda the opposite

For starters, Engelland is a -11 on the season and takes some frustrating penalties too (... and has effectively dragged Smid down with him as they're just too slow together), Diaz... was just a cheap signing and is a -6, and Bollig is a -6 (and was a career minus player before that).
Raymond has been, by far, the most cringe-worthy Flame this season visually. But at worst, his soft play hasn't made me feel like he's a liability on the ice. The above three are actual liabilities, Raymond is just not a help.

Gaudreau is my favourite at the moment. He is electrifying at times.

Monahan is definitely my favorite right now, he's so damn clutch and is still so young! I think I'm super excited about Porier too, I think he could be an amazing player for us soon.
Engelland and Raymond are easily at the bottom, the reasons have been listed. Thought the Gillies mention from saillias was good too, his behaviour has no place in professional sports.
Also - this was a cool idea for a thread, would be nice to have two separate polls.

Ok I'll reframe the original question:
Most fun to watch: Gaudreau, Hudler, Brodie on the rush and lately Ortio.
Role player underdog guys: Byron, Bouma. When Gio was starting with the Flames he was in this category.
Least interesting player to watch: Bollig
Most frustrating to watch: Jones because of his inconsistency. Byron on the breakaway.

Reason: adding Byron on the Breakaway

Favorite: Gaudreau. I have not had a favorite player since Fleury, finally found the right match.
Least favourite: Bollig. He brings nothing. Glencross a short second.

lots of small skill guys on the favs lists, lots of big slow oafs on the suck lists. I wonder what Burke thinks of this poll...
seeing as how the UFA signings make up the bulk of the unfavorite lists, I'm hoping this means that Treliving got it all out of his system and he's ready to make a string of awesome deals this summer.

Favourite: McGrattan
Least favourite: Gillies
NHL only
Favourite: Giordano. He just seems to live and breath Calgary Flames. This team just isn't the same without him
Least favourite: Probably Raymond. I just don't see what he adds, he doesn't seem to be playing to his strengths

Favorite: Giordano. We aren't half the team we are now without him.
Least favorite: Diaz. He's a better offensive player and puck handler than we've seen from him this year. He's had a good shift here and there, but never a really good game, whereas other whipping boys like Engelland and Bollig have had good games, and have played their roles more effectively.

Favorite: Gio. He's lead the way for what has been a refreshingly successful season.
Glencross puts forth almost no effort unless he has a line to the net.

I think Burke likes big, but I don't know that he likes slow.
While I picked Gio, I like Colborne and don't mind Jones, whereas while I picked Engelland as the whipping boy, I don't care for Diaz. So there.

Interesting that Colborne isn't making many lists in either capacity.
Favs: Brodie, Monahan
Least Fav: Engelland by a country mile
I'm also loving Jones right now for some reason (though he's in no way a favourite). I think I just like yelling out "Mad Bones Jones!!" after a few drinks

I just have to say this after seeing Glencross on so many "least favorite" lists. He's probably in my top 5 most favorite players on this team, and many years before. I won't derail the thread anymore, but sufficed to say I don't understand why so few fans appreciate him.
