I was pretty excited when we signed Raymond. Now, not so much. He's playing scared because of his past injuries and may be playing with a bad shoulder right now.

That was in game 2 of the season. He scored goals in games 5 and 6 and then since October 19th, he has one goal (and one point) in 15 games. And he really brings absolutely nothing else when he's not producing.

I think Baertschi brings a lot more to the team in the same role if he's given the same opportunity.

Yeah, but at the same time it's probably harder to score a hattrick in practice.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that Raymond can make some positive impact.

I'm expecting Ortio to have to stand on his head again for us to have a chance.

I might be mistaken but didn't Bouma also get a look on the top line with Monahan earlier in the season with some of the injuries? I thought he replaced Jones for a game or two before Hartley moved him back on to the third / fourth line when it didn't work.

Sven has 0 goals this year, Raymond has 6.

I like Sven. And Raymond definitely needs to ramp his game up. But let's not make it sound like Sven was doing anything special out there.

At the start of the year, who'd have thought our top line would be Bouma - Monahan - Jones? But it doesn't look like that bad of an option the way the three of them are playing. Go figure.

Am I offside for suggesting that, regardless of what order they are placed in a tweet, our #1 line right now is arguably Gaudreau-Backlund-Hudler?

That is most definitely our number one line right now.
