I remember that day and thinking it was some sort of prank on the listeners. Sadly it wasn't and that terrible station was born.

I miss 106/1060. My exposure to it was limited, since I live in Lethbridge. After about 9:00pm reception was crappy. I would sometimes tape the morning show when I left for school so I could listen at night after the reception dropped.

Mix 1060 was the best radio I've ever listened to.
