Ortio hopefully gets in tonight. Hiller had a bad game last night. It is the second of a back to back.

Ortio is also on a one way contract for next year, so need to see if he can play in the NHL.

It's a back to back. I believe that you rotate goalies in that situation.

Even if Hiller pitched a shutout last night, tonight is Ortio's game.

That said, all else being equal I'd likely have started Ortio against Flordia who was playing their second of back-to-back nights with Hiller tonight. Alas, all else wasn't equal, and Ortio didn't have his contact lenses (even if he had them game time wouldn't have had the prep time with them). Therefore Hiller last night, Ortio tonight.

I think it's a safe bet to say Ortio is going to be here full time next year - Ramo and Hiller are fighting to see who gets to stay. Hiller is ahead in this battle, but it's becoming clearer everyday that neither is the long term answer.

Ramo and Hiller are place holders. Whoever is here next year, I expect we see a 50-50 split until Ortio is undeniably the guy. He then gets to come in to 2016-17 as the #1, and Gillies will have a shot to usurp him.

And that's how I see it.

Also, Ortio should start tonight.
