That way you spread the creativity around some by separating Gaudreau and Bennett.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bennett gets wing time next year, since NHL centre is hard for rookies.
Not just the first line. Not a single line on that lineup could go against most teams 1st lines, especially in the west. Baertschi hasn't shown he can replace Glencross, especially while making the team smaller. Maybe Ferland if he continues to develop. Also Poirier hopefully makes a push to make the Flames next year.

Good for Krahn, great sense of humor and looks like he's loving being out there.

I like the look of these lines as well. Too bad Jooris would be a scratch, but I suspect there will be a rotation of Jones, Bollig, Jooris, maybe Byron and Raymond. Or is Jooris hurt?

Jooris is hurt (wrist I think).

Bollig possibly being the healthy scratch makes sense.
He really has been ineffective all season.

It seemed fairly obvious he was talking about that specific Flames line-up, not all time in the NHL.

Yeah what a boat anchor he is. As far as I'm concerned, Bollig is one of 4 boat anchors we have on this team (McGrattan, Diaz & Engelland being the other ones).

For a guy who made his rep by fighting,Bolig isn't doing much with 2 fights this season and little else. Maybe he doesn't want to be here.

Engelland has been doing pretty much what he was signed to do, third pairing defenceman with a lot of grit.

Bollig has been exactly what I expected from him: a 4th line plug who adds some size to the line-up. Can't say he's disappointed me when I never expected much from him to begin with. Not sure what everyone expected from him...

I would have liked to see Byron scratched but I think he earned another shot last game. He played well. Hope he keeps it up.

He did score a few goals as a 4th liner in Chicago though. Maybe that was what was expected of him. On the other hand, Tim Jackman scored 10 one season and never repeated that performance, so we should have learned not to count on 4th liners to repeat their success.

Guess Bollig could have potted a few goals by now with some luck though. He's had some good chances no doubt.

I expected hard nosed hockey, hitting, tough forecheck, plenty of facewashing and the occasional fight. He can't keep up though, behind the play most of the time. He's a fourth liner, a banger, but at this point Wolf appears like a better solution.

I had low expectations, they have not been mer. He appears to lack intensity and motivation.

Would love to see what Wolf can do in Bollig's place.
