Don't look now but Byron is 3rd on the Flames in hits with 68. A huge part of the PK with the second most PK minutes (among forwards) behind Bouma who leads the Flames. 6th in the
entire NHL for takeaways.
The guy is a third liner and makes 600K. I'd say he is performing above what should be expected from such a player. Perfect 3rd line energy PK guy as far as I'm concerned. Any scoring is a bonus.
