Frick, the Flames are going back to the PK.

I think Poirier is the culprit.

Oh it's Yonkman that's called. The call was near Poirier.

Flames kill off the penalty. 41 of 42.

BUT, Tousi has been called for a dive. So we have a PK to start the 2nd.

I know Tous is prone to diving, but that one looked like the Utica defenseman may have got his elbow up.

EDIT - Nevermind, I just rewound it a bit. He definitely added a flop to a bit of an elbow.

The announcers are saying that Tousi was "warned" by the refs about embellishing plays during the TV timeout.

Wonder when the warning to the entire Comets team was because I've seen two dives out of them. I don't think Tousi dove.

I think Tousi is going to end up fined by the AHL for that too. I believe they have a similar rule to the NHL.

Edit: They do, and it's only for a second offense. $100 for 2nd offense, $200 for 3rd offense, 4th offense is a suspension and $300 team fine.

Lots of little kids cheering for Dash as he rides the Zamboni.
I swear that one of them said "bring back Scorch!"

Tousignant was "talked to" after he took the hit from behind. All the fans around me were wondering why. It seemed like a pretty cut & dry penalty without embellishment.

Huska Interview:

The one thing they are missing against Utica is the extra desire to win. Utica has won battles for loose pucks and they wanted the game a little bit more then Flames did. They need to raise their game against them and want the win more.

Need more traffic and 2nd/3rd opportunities again the Utica goalies. Guys passing up too many opportunities to shoot the puck, need to be a little more greedy.

Utica coming off a huge lopsided loss and expects them to come out ready to play. Flames need to be the one taking it to them and making them play on heels.

Baertschi's personality has completely changed. He's having fun in practice, he's upbeat and he's got his swagger. He was not like this at the beginning of the year. Hopes it continues and his game is rewarded for it.

Wants to see PP generate more positive momentum. Challenging players to be quicker. 2-3 passes at most before shooting on net. Don't let PK guys get into position, be faster then them and shoot.
