Just so everyone knows Regina Pats formed in 1917, so if we're going to fight about it, the Oilers are trying to pull off the Pats look! And failing horribly!

I'd assume he suits up tomorrow night in Brandon vs the Hitmen?

The addition of Klimchuk, who has 14 goals and 30 points in 27 games, solidifies Brandon’s offense as clearly the best in the Eastern Conference. Their top nine of Klimchuk, Florida Panthers second-rounder Jayce Hawryluk, New Jersey Devils first-rounder John Quenneville, Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Peter Quenneville, Minnesota Wild pick Reid Duke, Richard Bukarts, Nolan Patrick, Tim McGauley and Tyler Coulter is ultimately unbelievable. Their third line is better than some team’s first lines.

Klimchuk has a goal and assist in his Brandon debut so far.

10 minutes left in the 3rd period

Looks like he was on the first line pp when he got his assist. Good start for his new team!

Scores the GWG in his first game. Not too shabby.

slightly ot but looks like the Pats are retooling their whole roster:

Darrell Romuld (CTV) @CTVDarrell
The Regina Pats have traded Captain Kyle Burroughs & F Dryden Hunt to Med Hat in exchange for Connor Hobbs & picks.

Darrell Romuld (CTV) @CTVDarrell
I'm told the deal will send Jake Leschyshyn to Regina in exchange for F Connor Gay, 1st & 2nd Rd picks. Now, we wait for confirmation.

Wow, was at the game last night, this is a major shift considering they are in second place?

Yeah it looks like they decided they weren't going to beat Brandon and/or Kelowna so went for the option to build for a stronger team 2 years down the line.

Peter L was talking about their situation the other day - and that they love their 16/17 year olds - and that their window to really drive to a championship probably isn't this year.

Exactly what I texted to my brother in law, it does look like their window is 2 years. That is if Edmonton doesn't draft Sam Steel and put him into the lineup the very next season! lol

Never underestimate the stupidity of the Edmonton Oilers.

Wheat Kings face-off against the Silvertips @ 6:00 Mountain Time tonight.

Excited to get our second look at Morgan in the black-and-gold.

Everett leads the US Division, but trails the Wheaties by 12 points on the season. Should be a good test for Klimmer and his new squad!
