The Regina Pats have traded Captain Kyle Burroughs & F Dryden Hunt to Med Hat in exchange for Connor Hobbs & picks.

I'm told the deal will send Jake Leschyshyn to Regina in exchange for F Connor Gay, 1st & 2nd Rd picks. Now, we wait for confirmation.

Yeah it looks like they decided they weren't going to beat Brandon and/or Kelowna so went for the option to build for a stronger team 2 years down the line.

Exactly what I texted to my brother in law, it does look like their window is 2 years. That is if Edmonton doesn't draft Sam Steel and put him into the lineup the very next season! lol
