Gastric just got hammered. Ference high sticks his own goalie in the face. Scrivens is injured.

Hutchinson is 6-1-2, and still playing lights-out.

I just checked the long term forecast for Southern Manitoba. Seems to be calling for a complete Whiteout in April....

Won't be surprised if that is the case since he's 36 now.

Was watching the 'Hawks at Devils' game (of course), and Fischler mentioned Jokinen in his trade rumors report, saying that he is being shopped, but not believing that he has generated any interest or has any value...

In the game, The Devils selected a Kid from Albany, Keith Kincade, to make his first NHL start (he had 53 minutes of NHL relief work on his resume), and played a collapsing defense in front of him...the kid did well holding a 2-1 lead until late in the 3rd, despite a massive 'Hawk advantage in puck possession...Kincade had no chance on a rebound goal by Keith to tie it, or on the shootout goals by Toews and Kane...he DID steal a point for the Devils.

In the 'Hawk net, Darling as solid, giving up a goal to Tootoo on a bad turnover, and on an amazing batted shot by Steve Gionta. Bickell got the 'Hawks first goal. Sharp looked great in his first game back. He was on RW with Shaw and Bickell (Speculation has the 'Hawks showing him off for teams that need a RW).

I don't know if he does, a member of the Oilers Propaganda team sits in the booth with a gun while stroking a white kitty and murmuring "Now say only nice things about the Oilers Drew, only nice things". Then scratches his kitty under the chin while staring at the broadcast crew with cold dead eyes.

The eyes of a man who has looked into the void of the fourth dimension and seen the future occupied by a Oilers team that still can't win 20 games in a season and has had his hopes and emotions and joy burned out of his soul. If the kitty could see this future and understand it in it's kitty brain and had opposable thumbs it probably would have fashioned a noose by now and hung itself from the top branch of its Oiler brand scratching tree.
