Yeah I'm interested in Hartleys comments about how their meeting went.. Like if Sven was way more positive since he got a bunch of games or something.

I hope this prolonged stint has shown Sven that he is still in the Flames' plans as long as he is willing to put the work in on his end, and not let the attitude get out of sorts. He was literally there to watch Jooris play, Setogucci come back and then the organization send down Setogucci so he knows for a fact now that spots can be taken from regulars.

I'm always interested in what GM's tell players when they get sent down and the players response. Too bad stuff like that is kept confidential for the most part.

People also need to stop expecting so much out of players so quickly.

Look at the 2010 draft and a lot of the first rounders there are just starting to cut their teeth in the NHL. Not to mention you dont hear too much about players like Ryan Murphy, Jamie Oleksiak, Joel Armia, Mark McNeil who were all drafted in the same year as Sven. there are a lot of first round picks right now that are bouncing up and down with their NHL/AHL clubs right now, Sven isnt the only one trying to earn his time.

I've always liked Baertschi, but he wasn't really standing out. He wasn't really sticking out either, in terms of his defense.

It must be frustrating for him, but more ice time will probably do him good.

Jeez, I remember when it seemed like he was our only prospect. Feaster did some good things while he was here.

for those who don't regularly go to the back burner forum, Baertschi scored his first goal of the season against the Baby Habs to tie the game and force overtime

Sven also set up what should have been the winner on a Wotherspoon clapper that hit the post as dead on as you can hit it.

More 2nd line and PP. First line is Elson-Reinhart-Hanowski.

AHL doesn't release TOI stats.

Hate is a bad thing for a persons health, maybe pick another sport with less action like lawn bowling or lawn darts..proven fact. green sports keep you happy.

Saw him score 2 beautiful goals against an NHL Colorado roster. Granted it was preseason, but Ferland has great hands and a lot of game.

Awesome to see congrats Sven, keep it up.

On another note CP seems extra angry tonight...is this what happens when we lose two games in a row nowadays?

That's Bob Hartley coaching for you. Everyone hates to lose.
