How about swap Bouma with Ferland?

Hopefully Baertschi can go back down and raise his level now that he has been gifted some NHL games. How he handles the impending demotion could be a defining moment for his season.

Trade whichever of Gratts and Bollig gets the better return. Damn we are deep at forward.

Yes we are...
Now if we can only do something about our 5th, 6th, or 7th D-man.
Would like to see Wotherspoon brought up to see how he performs. Is it bad to sort of hope for an injury to Diaz?

It takes me so long to read Hartley quotes because my mind always does it in his voice.

Looking forward to seeing Colborne on the trip at some point. Dude was an assist factory when he went down.

Ferland and Granlund have been good, but you've got to think Raymond and Colborne get dropped on the 3rd line with Byron by mid-trip.
Both I think have gained a ton from playing these games, and can develop their own games a bit more by stepping into more significant roles in Addy. They'll be back soon enough.
Or one of them stays and takes Sven's spot as the 4th liner. If so, likely Ferland, I think.

Getting Raymond and Colborne back is a blessing in disguise. Adding more weapons is always a great thing and I have noticed that they've been missing Colbornes size a fair bit lately. As for Raymond, fits so well in the transition game with his speed and he has one of the best shots on the team.
Sven's a for sure shoe in to get sent down. I like Ferlands game, really helps balance out the git and size factor on the team but I think Granlunds going to flourish with the new addiitions of Raymond and Colborne. Gives Hartley more weaponized options throughout the top nine.

I like that reference - Ferdaddy - the weaponized option!

It's a pretty lousy disguise.

I feel like Ferland benefits from the smaller amount of ice time versus the AHL more than Sven. Ferland gets to learn he can crash and bang with the big boys while Sven's more of a pure offense guy who needs PP time and big minutes. As soon as Setoguchi went down he started to produce (I think 4 points in 5 games now). Ferland has nothing to prove in the AHL (9 points in 9 games).

I dislike Glencross as much as anyone but the blind hate is getting out of hand, he has been fantastic for awhile now. It's time for Bollig to move on as others have said.

I've been down on Glencross as well, but the only reason to trade him is his FA status at the end of the year. Otherwise he's a bargain player who does things most of the others on the team don't.

Glencross is tied in points with Monahan now, he's brought his points and goals up from some abysmal numbers just a couple weeks ago. Has been one of the top few players in the recent win streak and played a large role in us taking those games... and somehow without some people noticing. His defensive hustle is flakey sometimes, but the positives have far outweighed the negatives for a good while now.
Don't be hatin.

Yeah, it looks like Glencross is gutting it out until some more regulars slot back in.

Flames may be concerned with Ferland's inability to complete shifts. Often he is first off the ice and clearly has stronger first periods than the rest of the game. I have heard that his NHL stamina is in question.

In the defensive zone yes, but not in the offensive zone.
