I think the chaps in white will pot home 4 wickets versus the lovely host teams 3 wickets. I sure hope that it's a spirited affair, with plenty of brandy.

Yup, I agree with this. I was kind of on board after Saturday night but this is a big, big test.
Come on Flames!

Yes. But a loss isn't an indictment of the flames being a non-playoff team either

If we can manage 4 out of 6 possible points on this road trip, I'll be content.

Roger Millions @RogMillions
Ducks Bruce Boudreau on #Flames "they play a lot like Chicago does" . That's a statement about how far Cgy has come.

Ditto. All aboard!
edit: Actually... If we leave the Honda Center without any points, but also no communicable diseases, I'll be content.

The vibe is different this year walking into The Honda Center. The kind of vibe that says curse breaker. I feel good about tonight.
Last season the Flames walked into the Duck' barn while they were undefeated at home or at least had a quite formidable record at home. Ducks are not that lofty at home this year, time to strike while the iron is hot!

Maybe I missed it, but where's the stats to backup the "Honda Center Curse"?
I mean I know we lose there a lot, but what's the key stat?

We haven't won there since January 19, 2004. We haven't won there in 10 years, going on 11 if we lose tonight.

18 straight regular season losses in Anaheim (5 in extra time, so they have left the Pond with points, just not wins).
Including the playoffs, in the last 31 games played in Anaheim, the Flames have 2 wins.

Stupid Bourque. I hope he takes another boneheaded, poorly-timed penalty tonight and it costs them the game this time.

Look for Bouma to be moved off quickly if they fall behind or if the offence is just not happening.
Good to see Russell in - hopefully he can take hits.

They should put Jooris on the wing with Monahan.

Or put Ferland up and reunite the Sven/Jooris/Byron line that played well together that one time.
Bouma/Knight/Bollig gives that line better defence with Bouma and a lot of crash and bang.
