I have always been a Flames fan but I lived the better part of my life on Vancouver Island. I've been to more games in Vancouver than anywhere else so for me it's FAR and away the Canucks. I do enjoy our rivalry with the Oilers more though, especially now that I live in "Oil Country" but for pure dislike it's Canucks all the way.

Canucks. I don't hate the Oilers, hating the Oilers would be like hating a 1 legged puppy. You can't hate anything that sad and pathetic.

Canucks, and it's not even close. Probably because the Oilers have been awful/irrelevant for as long as I've been a Flames fan.

Last season was a great year for our rivals. Edmonton is basically out of the playoffs by Rembrance day and then post Christmas the Canucks fall off a cliff and are terrible

Canucks easily. Scumbag divers and the delusional fan base who believes the NHL has stacked the deck against them.

When the Canucks were winning back to back president's trophies the fanbase should have been walking around with a cocky, cloud nine strut. Insults and chirping should have rolled off their back, but it got under their rice paper skin every time.

As for the Oilers, man I want them to get better along with the Flames. I want a true battle of Alberta again. I want these two teams eating each other alive in the playoffs. This "short bus" version of the Oilers offers no real entertainment value... Eakins dinosaur pose not with standing.

I don't think the Canucks consider us much of a rival, just like we don't think of the Oilers as much of a rival. Flames haven't had a winning record against the Canucks since 2003. You have to go back 20 years to see the Flames have back-to-back winning records against the Canucks. I hate the Canucks and Oilers, but there just isn't a rivalry out there worth a damn any more to make the question seem automatic.

Canucks, you can't even compare the two.

The Oilers are no good. And never will be. But once upon a time they were. They won a lot of cups and were amazing. Love em, hate em. They are a storied franchise.

And I hate them.

Wtf have the Canucks done? And their fans are the biggest obnoxious pricks anywhere.

Ps I feel the same about Montreal (storied franchise) versus Toronto (done nothing and obnoxious pricks for fans).

Canucks. Oilers have been too pathetic to hate...I get great shaedenfreud (sp) from watching them though.

Nucks Oilers are the hard games to watch because there is no desirable result.

I live in smug Canuck fan central... Aside from Vancouver.... I hate the Canucks. I always have. I always will. The Oilers are too sad and pathetic to hate. It's like hating that middle aged man with down's syndrome that lives down the street. He's completely harmless, and even though he tries, he needs a lot of help.

I went through the 80's hating the whiner Oilers and that will never change. Any Flames fan that survived the Gretz/ Slats/ Mess/ era knows what I am talking about.

The Oilers I hate in a rivalry sort of way.

Canucks on the other hand is a pure, burning hatred. Stems from my time living in BC putting up with their fans maybe, but I hate everything from their team fans, jersies, to their arena and the city itself. It's not much of a rivalry. I just hate them.

Anybody who dislikes the canucks more than the oilers had never lived through a real war with the oilers... Which makes sense since it hasn't happened since the 90s. That was hate.

The canucks thing today.. They are more of an irritation and everybody dislikes them or at least did, it's not really a flames exclusive rivalry. They've never even won a cup and they are 4x as far away as edmonton.

People might dislike them more now but Calgary's real rival is always going to be edmonton. People are just soft towards them at the moment because they are so pathetic and have been for so long.

If seattle ever gets a team it will be good for vancouver so they can develop a real rivalry.

If I grew up in Calgary I'd probably say the Oilers but I didn't so it's definitely the Canucks. They have more ######bags on their team and with the Oilers being one of the worst teams in the league it's hard for me to hate them the way I do the Canucks.

Like factor for both teams is equal to zero. So I guess they are both tied.

I can't stand Toronto's team, fans, media coverage, city, traffic, and its humidity. The best evidence I can find of God's existence is that I was not born in Toronto. I'd even prefer living in Edmonton than Toronto. At least you can drive to Calgary on weekends if you had to live there, similar to receiving a weekend pass from a minimum security correctional facility I would imagine.

Default Who do you dislike more? The Oilers or the Canucks? - Poll Request

Canucks by far!!! Oilers have been so bad you kind of feel sorry for them (kind of). I'm sure it will change if they ever get good again and there is some sort of rivalry.

But man, I can't stand the Canucks or their fans. It make my blood boil.

I also hate the Jets!! I'm indifferent with it comes to the Leafs and Canadiens, which I am sure some might find strange.
