Pretty rare that the officiating goes against Montreal, tonight was one of those nights.

Garrett is ridiculous.

Never realized how much I hate Vancouver.

Very entertaining, up-tempo game in Ottawa...ends at 4-4 with the 'Hawks winning the trick shot contest.

Notes: Marion Hossa with 1G 1A to get to 1000 career points (in his 1100th game) ...fitting that he did it in his 1st NHL city...Toews with 2 goals, and Versteeg undressed Karlsson just after Karlsson made an amazing back-check to stop a Steeger breakaway.

Sen's goals were all 5-hole on Darling...Stone, MacArthur (PP), Ryan, Zibanejed.

Bickell is clearly in Q's doghouse, with Morin there as well...for Bickell, it was a horrible, soft, turnover that led to the Sen's 3rd goal...for Morin, an undisciplined and unnecessary slashing penalty in a close game in the 3rd.

Darling started again in net, Crawford was dressed, Raanta was not...

CC will probably be ready to go in Toronto Saturday, I expect one of the other two to return to the Rock...but, longer term, if the 'Hawks like what they see in Darling, I wouldn't be shocked to see Crawford, and his large contract moved to an Eastern Playoff hopeful that has Goaltender issues, when we get closer to the trade deadline.

There were 3 SHUTOUTS on the OOT. The Avs beat the Isles 5-0 and Varlamov worked for it stopping all 40 shots. Mackinnon scores 2 goals. Jake Allen made 24 saves in the Blues 2-0 win. The Penguins won 3-0 over the Kings as Fleury faced 36 shots. The Wild win the in the SO over the Sharks 4-3.

And to add insult to injury, they score on the play. Emelin is no choirboy, but that play was horse
