Oh my good lord, that has to be the worst mascot I have ever seen! I don't know what the designer was smoking but as I lay here with a bad back I sure could use some! Who is responsible for giving the ok on this design, don't care who they just need to be fired!

Yes, that's it, put a clown hat and shoes on the designer and call him or her "Fired" and he or she can be the new mascot!

This absolutely qualifies as being so bad it's good. Mascots are mostly stupid anyways so might as well go with something over the top bad. Well done.

Something that's missing from this discussion and, indeed, the mascot critiquing discussion at large is that mascots aren't designed to impress or appeal to cynical adult fans.
10 year old me would have thought that mascot was dope, hell 24 year old me thinks that mascot is dope. Well done.
