uh, yeah, she was the best in the league for what was said earlier.
She sang the anthem. No drama, no "LOOK AT ME" moments, no auditions for American Idol.
She sang it, sang it well, and went on her way. Best in the league by far based on the games i've seen.
Sad to see her go.

The word "best" is a subjective term not a literal one... as there's no such thing

She was the best, by far, in my opinion.

I saw nothing remarkable at all in her singing. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Personally for my money this guy is the best.

Really expecting fans to give her a warm send off. Be sure to cheer if you're at the game on behalf of those of us out of town.

Can't remember her name but the girl in the 80's was far better. Heather was good for awhile but I was getting bored listening to her.

so you prefer those who want the spotlight to be on them instead of the game?
interesting.
I think that's the mark of someone who doesn't properly grasp their role.

Kate Smith singing God Bless America is still the best performance ever.

Well that's a shame. I remember my wife noticing that she wasn't singing the anthem at the pre-season game vs. Vancouver. I shrugged it off and said something like "they're saving Heather for the regular season."
I'm sure that she will get a great sendoff tomorrow night.
16 years? It doesn't feel like that many years, but it also feels like her predecessors were eons ago. Weird.

Hopefully very, very far away from a Saddledome microphone.

Talk about having an issue with everything...what did you want? her doing standup between the American and Canadian anthem? getting bored, thats a good one.

they literally put a spotlight on the anthem singer when they sing
before the game. So that's kind of the idea.

I hope they just give the gig to Annie Pattison full time. At the end of the season last year, they were pretty much rotating between Heather and Annie.

Cornelison is an amazing talent but no thanks, shouldn't be singing for the Hawks. I would hate it if someone like Cornelisonre replaced Heather
