Quite a pick-up Russell has turned out to be. I think most had him pegged as temporary, bottom pairing D filler material. Long way to come now being arguably in the top 4 and looked at as one of the leaders of the team.

I believe it's pretty clear the writing is on the wall for Stajan. He my stay for all of this season. But Bennett should be good to go next year. Monahan, Bennett, Granlund, Colborne, Backlund, Maybe a highly touted C from the 2015 draft . There really won't be any room for him after this year.

I'm also starting to wonder if there's any room for Backlund after this season as well.
