Anyone notice at the games they are letting you take the beer cans in without pouring them into the plastic cup. Is that because of the "security" so they don't have to worry about people with outside drinks.

Its only available on TSN in the Winnipeg region (unless you have centre ice)

My friend and I grabbed drinks from the bar in-between the 2nd and 3rd bowl and were told by a security guard that you can now leave that area with your beer can/cans (as opposed to having to pour it into a red cup)
