There's no chance that Ferland and Jones are competing for the same spot. Ferland, Baertschi, Bennett, Granlund, Gaudreau, Reinhart, Bryon, Bolling, McGrattan, Wolf are all competing for the last 3 forward spots.
Jones is very safe in his position on the team.

McGratton plays a role and Hartley loves him, he's not competing with anyone for his spot.
Byron has impressed yet again and Hartley called him an NHLer last year so he's sticking.
Bollig, 1-way, spent a 3rd to get him. Likely sticks
Pretty much all the prospects you mentioned will likely end up going down since playing the 4th line or being in the press box wont help them much.
