Did I really just read this under Poirier's description?

I'm not sure they were fully aware they were trying to describe Emile Poirier.
Yes, that's what this entire thread has been about so far...

It would've just been easier to say - yeah, I'm wrong. But this is the internet. Saying I'm wrong doesn't happen. You really aren't going to win this one. While the difference between agility and velocity can be established, I really don't think you can support saying Poirier isn't fast. Especially after seeing those videos.

Otherwise, a nice read in what is otherwise a long hockey-less stretch of summer. Cheers.

Not really provided to the forum, though. They're provided to another site, and links are provided. You make it sound like he's written something for here, and that effort is not being appreciated.

My guess is 5-10 games, depending on injuries on the Flames.

It would be nice if Poirier's shoulder heals enough for him to take part in training camp.

LOL.

The discussion of Poirier's speed led me to revisit his draft day thread hoping to find scouting reports. What I mainly found were a whole slew of posts hating the pick and lambasting Feaster as an idiot, particularly for passing on Shinkaruk.

Prime example for why people need to chill out on draft day.

Haha. Reading the Poirier Draft Pick thread led to the discovery of yet another of fotze's greatest posts:

Shinkaruk does look like he could be the baasterd child of a three way between Draco Malfoy, Joffrey Baratheon and Phil Kessel.

I found the music in the videos "more quick, than fast".
