Sam Bennett looks to be centering Brendan Perlini and Jayce Hawrlyuk at Canada's WJC camp today. #Flames
Morgan Klimchuk appears to be with Zach Nastasiuk and some kid named Connor McDavid. #Flames
@AAVickers Jeremy Gregoire instead of Nastasiuk

Morrissey - Ekblad is a hell of a D pairing.
Too bad for Canada that they'll both most likely be playing in the show

Looks like there won't be a lot of returning players for Team Canada again this season.

There should be a significant drop off if McDavid is indeed a generational talent and Eichel is considered not to far off. In most drafts, you're lucky to have two really high end talents. I am talking more Ovechkin and Malkin rather than Hall and Seguin.

Klimchuk has a lot of LW competition to overcome to make the team. Hopefully he clicks with McDavid.

Klimchuk, McDavid and Reinhart were a line at the u18. They should be very familiar with each other.

RW is noticeably less deep that the LW or C position but I assume a C or 2 will slide over for this tourney.

Unless a few of these guys are in the NHL come fall, this team looks stacked.

There will be at least a few who will play in the NHL this season. Domi, Reinhart, Lazar, Petan and Horvat are all forwards that could make it. Ritchie and Dal Colle are also outside-shots from the 2014 draft that will get a good opportunity to play this year.

any idea if Rafikov will play against Canada tomorrow? Who did he injure during the Subway Series? Wasn't it Klimchuk?

video of the Russia vs Czech exhibition game from last night.

Rafikov is #3 for the Russians (Red).
He is a pretty good puck mover (perhaps underrated in that area) and seems to always get a shot on net from the point that causes problems for the Czechs.

Really hope TC goes with a more skilled lineup than the past few WJC's.
