Less electricity used is less coal burnt no matter how you slice it. Just because the hotels motivations are transparent, doesn't make it a bad idea.

Isn't that just ice water?
Refreshing water - next time you are at the ice fields, take that bus up the glacier and fill up on delicious, icy glacier water. If you're lucky, it's not contaminated with pee.

We use one of these. Fill it once or twice a day. Keeps the water cold. When we go out we fill a stainless bottle to take with us. There is really no reason for anyone to buy bottled (or boxed) water.

Oh god, that would be a nightmare for me. I can't stand cold water.
Even when I am boiling hot, I mean like Afica hot, I would rather, room temp or warm water.

I use our filtered water from the fridge (at home), as I like it cold.
However the wife only drinks hot water.

Has anyone tried "Zero Water"?
Supposedly has a much finer filtration system than Brita but its filters comes at almost 3 times the price ($15 a filter at walmart)

Ah, I see you married an Asian. I know this because my sister is the only non-Asian in the world that drinks hot water constantly.

Or he married your sister.
Does tap water not taste different to you guys anymore? I haven't had tap water in years without a Brita, it tastes like pool water.
