That should have been the Heat logo from day one. Hopefully if the rumour about Glens Falls is correct they can bring that logo there, Adirondack Heat/Flames

Which players from the Wings roster are eligible to be sent down to their AHL team for the playoffs?

Val-D'or are still in the QMJHL playoffs. not likely to be available until round 2 if the Griffins make it

Yea, they dropped the ball on that one. "Abbotsford Flames" with that logo would have been so much better.

The home/away schedule is interesting.... As the lower seed, I think they have the advantage here in a 5 game series. They win both at home, that's a good spot knowing you only have to steal one in their barn. Good chance of jumping out early in the series. If I was the home team, I don't think I'd like this setup...

Default Calder Cup Western Quarterfinals Game #1 - Heat vs Griffins - April 25th @ 8p...

The top seed actually gets to choose their preference. Either they got the first 2 games at home or the last 3 games at home.

Griffins made the choice for the last 3 at home.

It looks like Manchester was the only higher seed who chose to start at home and give up the possibility of home ice in game 5.

Hoping someone can confirm, but I thought I heard Ward say this week on 960, that the higher seed gets the choice to start at home or on the road. If so, that's an interesting choice by the Griffins' organization.

NVM - see it was addressed ahead of me.

Are we certain that we can watch the games overseas if we order? I'd feel pretty bad to shell out $45 only to discover its available in North America only or something.

Anybody know if its possible to stream the AHL live broadcast through a chromecast?

After shelling out the $45 I'd love to be able to watch it on my TV instead of my computer if possible.

As far as I know, anything you watch with chrome browser can be sent to chromecast instead, just by choosing so

Will the Red Wings be calling up Mrazek since Howard is injured? Does he give the better chance of a win for the Bruins than Gustavsson does?

I can't see how unless you mirror chrome, but that's fraught with bugs. It would have to be broadcast through youtube/Netflix to be smooth.

You could certainly try mirroring your chrome though

I am not familiar with chromecast but when I bought the AHL feed last year, I simply plugged my laptop into my TV and watched on the bigscreen.

Is that too low-tech of a solution?
