CBCSports ‏@cbcsports 15m Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon said Monday he's got room to sign up to 5 veteran free agents & will try to do so: http://www.cbc.ca/1.2609893

Could see Cammy being an option for Florida.

I just heard a little bit of Cammy's speaking and it was a decent listen. You can tell the team is close listening to him speak. Some pretty funny moments talking about the BC kids.

Links for the lazy. Monahans interview wasn't that interesting IMO, but I felt Gio and Cammy were worth listening to.

As to Cammalleris situation, he sounds honest when he says that neither side has really made a decision yet.

Technically the Flames are in a position to make a really good offer to Cammy. He's a well liked star and a leader here so he's worth more to us than he would be to most teams, and we have cap space to spare. Then again, should we make room for more rookies? Do we have room in the top lines another small winger, with Gaudreau and Baertchi knocking at the door next season? If we do want to sign him, what the length of our offer, and is it what Cammy wants?

I really think it's more than just Cammy being coy. Big decision for both sides.

McGrattan just called Monahan a leader in the room both on and off the ice. Wow!

I would have paid his airfare for Larry Brooks to show up and ask "Is that before or after someone got you a stepladder to reach his face?" after that comment.

Really like Cammy's evaluation of Johnny at the end of the interview / 7:45 mark. Basically saying that Johnny needs to be as physically fit in his own body and focus on the skills that make him the type of player he is. He called him fast and unpredictable as well as slimy out there! Haha. I say he is like a fast moving fish.

Really great interview with Cammy. I think he wants to move on, but he's a stand up guy and obviously a controlling presence in the locker room. Some great comments on Gaudreau and a nice ribbing at BC. If that's the last interview he gives as a Flame it's a good one.
