Never been as big an Isles fan as I am right now. I'm watching them like a hawk. Nice to have Center Ice for the playoff drive and the Draft drive.

Go Flames go!!
Attacking other fans for how they support the team is piss poor.

You're entitled to your opinion just like he is. People who take their free time to come on here and talk about what's best for the Flames are just as big of a Flames fan as you are.

I think most people who feel like a better draft pick would benefit the team more in the long run have been pretty silent down the stretch this year because last season most posts to that extent were attacked extensively and it seemed to be OK on the board.

I think it's totally legit to debate if losing now actually makes the Flames better in the long run, but the whole "real fan" nonsense is lame.

Fat winning spidey has been upgraded due to a spectacular performance by Rambo! Stole that one when the game was still up for grabs and looked calm and cool doing it.

Finnish goalies FTW!

My favorite Flame, alongside with Backlund, Gio, Hudler, Monahan, Brodie, Cammy...!

Glad he won a meaningful game in Tampa.

Gosh, was it 4:1 in game 1 in 2004? Damn....Darn....

Yes, and then after the whistle when he skated to the bench, Colborne gave him a pound.

Count me as one of the people who was wrong about having a "goon" on the team. It's clear that McGrattan increases the comfort level for the guys on the ice. I suspect it has as much to do with his off ice skills as his on ice skills, but no sense in trying to rationalize it. He's proven me very wrong.

Sweet mother of god. I thought Fat Spiderman was the image I would never be able to erase out of my memory... I was wrong.

Definitely thought this game would've been a loss for sure.

I don't ever really cheer for a loss.

Its just tough at this point in the season where these wins will mean absolutely nothing in 5 years but the difference between drafting 4th overall and 5th overall could be the difference of an elite player that will pay off huge in 5 years.

I know you want to build a winning culture and I think we have progressed this year in that regard with the teams effort, but the final 6 games of the season are meaningless when were not in a playoff hunt.

Go Islanders!

Trust in the hockey gods to reward us for non-tanking.

Oiler fans and canuck fans are paying the price now for offending the hockey gods. We don't want to be like them.

Like the win, but if I am being honest with myself. I only want them to win enough to keep us entertained for the rest of the year and lose enough to finish with the 4th pick. Sorry. The effort has been fantastic all season. I really do not like what there is outside of the top 4 players available in this years draft. Just want one of them and to focus on maybe getting good enough to hang around the playoff race for a while next year.

That was a sweet win! I'd rather they beat Toronto though, but I'll take this one!
