Stajan is just going back to be with his wife again after everything that has happened, there aren't any new developments to speak of.

Stajan has also returned to Calgary to be with his wife as the couple are still dealing with their family tragedy last month. Hartley admitted Stajan's leave was planned all along.

"For Matt, it was all planned before," Hartley said. "It shows the organizational comment for the player’s families. I don’t think from an organizational standpoint we’re doing anything spectacular, we’re just doing the right thing."

Well its fitting besides seeing Calgary play the Jets this year this is the first game I've seen them play live sin ce game 4 in 2004. I know the roster looks bad but I can't stand seeing those lightning turds win. Never been to Tampa arena but should be fun.

I still get mad thinking about how Kerry Fraser awarded Tampa a 5 on 3 in a Stanley Cup final game, game 4. At least NHL took him out Game 5 but damage was done.

The Flames will be down 2-1 with less than 15 seconds to go in regulation time, score a dramatic goal to tie it, and then win it early in overtime. That is how game seven should have played out.

Agreed.

The sad/funny part is that Brad Richards was a 3rd round pick of the Flames traded to Tampa in '99, and St. Louis was an ex Flame who was let go after his rookie season. Without those two pieces Tampa wouldn't have been anywhere near the cup that year. But if the Flames had ended up with both of them, they then probably wouldn't have been that underdog team that surprised everyone and made those playoffs as special as they were.
