EDIT: Just checked, the last time Calgary won in Toronto was 2011 with a 2-1 SO, and previously to that was 2009 with a 5-2 Victory
As a die hard flames fan growing up in the Barrie area, I've only been to 3 games at the ACC... oddly enough I was at both of those games, which were good ones to be at! However I also had the misfortune of being at the one where Sundin scored his 500th to win it in overtime.

I just want Colborne to have a huge night like Monahan and Byron did last game against Ottawa.

Well, they both have 3 goals so it isn't like we lose anything from an offensive standpoint. I actually kind of like some of the tools that Westgarth brings in a 4th line role. Ideally, he would be replaced by a younger, quicker version of himself, but he is who I'd roll with for the rest of the season.

Galiardi on the other hand has been roundly useless. Would have liked for him to work out and I hope he gets another shot with another team, but it would seem he's a dead man walking when it comes to the Flames, and I'm fine with that.

I still remember that stupid goal. He just skated down the boards, just over the blue line, and ripped an impossible slap shot top corner. May have been deflected if I remember correctly.

Hopefully we can get the leafs broadcast on the NHL package. I can't listen to Charlie anymore. I just can't. He mumbles on and on while the play is on. If he cant learn to shut up when the PBP guy should be talking about the on ice action, then I hope he gets replaced in the off season. It is driving me crazy! It has become an obsession( I need help!!)

I PVR the game and listen to 960.
A little bit of fiddling and you can sync it pretty close.

This is a must win for us Flames fans living near the centre of the universe. Here all the papers and media are wringing their hands worrying about the Leafs losing streak, they even went to Ron Wilson for some excuses.
I am really hoping for all flags in Ontario to be at half mast tomorrow after a huge Leafs loss.
Go Flames go !!!!!

Simmer is nothing compared to leaf land's Holy Mackinaw, especially when the leafs are playing your favourite team. Even worse, Glenn Healy might be the co-anal-yst.

Gah, everything about that franchise makes me puke. Hopefully we nail the blue & white coffin shut.

I'd chop my own head off before I wore a Leafs jersey, but the decision is yours. Just be warned that you'll likely lose all power of rational thought and say things like "Absolutely, Dion is one of the top 5 d-men in the league" and "Kessel really knows how to bring it when the stakes are the highest" non-stop.

I think Burkie will staple a few extra c-notes to the bulletin board tonight, and the Flames pull out the 4-3 victory. Although, truth be told, I wouldn't care if the Flames won another game or scored another goal all season if they beat the Leafs in regulation tonight and put the final nail in that coffin.

In summary, I despise the Leafs with the white-hot passion of 1,000 suns.

But we're team Ivy League. If we hadn't of shipped Stempniak we'd have five of them.

That goal was stupid.

-Sundin's 500th
-In OT
-Hat trick goal
-I believe it was shorthanded too

And there was some other stupid milestone that went along with it. I'm still pissed about that game, and I'm hoping for a 7-1 Flames beatdown and Leaf fans throwing jerseys on the ice and booing all game.

Flames contributed to the Oilers and Canucks meltdown this season. It would be great to add the Leafs to that list as well.

Would love to see the Flames devastate the Leafs like they did the Nucks and the Oilers this year.

However, I think the Leafs are due for a turnaround and I have a bad feeling that they break out tonight.

Regardless, really hoping that Colborne has a big game, just to rub it in to Leaf fans.

Also would really like to see Stajan have a big game. He deserves it.
