Not too often you get 50 shots against the Bruins, can't wait for playoff hockey.

When the Flames play games like this with regularity, we'll know the rebuild is done.

Julien rolls 3 forwards and 1 defenseman for all three lines.

Another thing I don't like about the 1 defender 3 forward setup is what you saw in that last sequence with Krejci back with Chara.
Chara has to do basically all the heavy defensive lifting in a 3-1 scenario, which is a lot of pressure, and a lot of work. A ton of skating etc.
Leads to fatigue I think.

Love it. Maybe they get scored on, but what are the chances they score if they get the puck?
Good risk.

For five minutes, athletes of this calibre can deal with it. Long term I can't see how it would have any impact at all.

As great as Iginla is he'd be probably one of the last options I'd look to in a shootout.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Also, Johnny Gaudreau and Bill Arnold play today at 3 pm when Boston College takes on UMass Lowell. Winner to the Frozen Four. #Flames

That Nyquist goal was absolutely ridiculous.
