Well they've already used both of their compliance buyouts, so are they really going to take on that sizable cap-hit going forward? Maybe they can sucker the Oilers into taking him on since they were offering him even a larger contract only a few months ago. It's a shame they aren't the team stuck with him.

The Oilers taking a run at Clarkson has to be about a million times worse than Feaster going after Richards.

I didn't realize they'd used both buyouts, I thought they had 1 left.

I just looked at Clarkson's stats... how the hell did that player get that type of contract just based on his stats? Am I missing something?

I liked Clarkson in New Jersey, he did a lot of good things and was a decent enough power forward. But he's a 3.5-4 million dollar player, not the obscene 5.25 the Leafs are paying him.

Pretty bad contract by Nonis. Thank goodness it wasn't Burke that wrote that dandy up.

Even if they had a compliance buyout remaining, Clarkson would not be eligible as a compliance buyout.

Have to give the Islanders some credit... they have a terrible roster now without Okposo and Tavares and are battling in all these games.

Carolina gets a point at minimum.. in OT.

Will move at least 5 points up on the Flames.

Kadri has been bad on two goals and it could have been worst.

Goalie pulled for the delayed penalty and whoops. Conachar gets the goal, and the penalty.

Now he's a $1 million dollar player hahaha...

I'd love to be a $1 million dollar player though.

Lol @ the Leafs. The CBC crew must absolutely hate this, which is awesome. I'm loving this!

Man the Leafs can't play defence at all. They don't understand basic coverage but I guess when Phaneuf is your captain that is no surprise.
