3 point game with a Florida win would be perfect there.

I think this week will be a big one in terms of where the Flames go... Sabres, Preds and Oilers - all big games in the toilet bowl/draft pick race. Really unlikely but if they go 0-3 they could be in a tie for the 2nd overall pick pretty easy with a tough 3 game homestand and then 6/8 on the road to end the season. Ekblad could be a realistic hope.

Win all three and they'll be right on the edge of that 6th-13th overall pick pack almost certainly with a project pick.

Amazing how 2-3 weeks make the difference between a cornerstone for 10 years for the club vs a lottery ticket at one. I hate the way North American sports work like this, can't even cheer for your team without reservation at the bottom of the league/end of the year.

Late in the second period, it is 1-0 Sharks. Logan Coture scored a shorthanded goal in the first period. Niemi has been excellent in net stopping all Rangers shots so far.

At the end of the first period, it is scoreless in the Avalanche-Senators game.

Bill Lindsey is an awesome colour commentator for the Panthers crew.

Canucks should have the advantage. Put the backup in.

Anyone watching the Panthers feed atleast got a nice shot of camera man staying too long on a chick walking up the stairs with her skirt riding just a little too high.

The second part of the home-away battle of Pennsylvania series was won by the Flyers
who swept the weekend series. They won Sunday's game 4-3 in regulation. The game
will be repeated tomorrow on NHL Network. It was good to see that both these games
were on national television. Here are the post game links.

Ottawa should go with these jerseys full time. So much nicer then the current set and the tan road jerseys look much smarter then all the plain white jerseys teams go with.

NY Rangers where scorers go to fade into oblivion. St. Louis finding out what Nash, Richards, and a boatload before them that it's simply not a place to be for a veteran scoring forward.

The Avalanche now lead 2-0 and it is in the third period.

Dustin Tokarski is in net for the Habs.

As much as I like Monahan, I'd give anything to have MacKinnon on this team. So explosive
