Wotherspoon is looking like he'll be a good NHL player but two totally different style of plays. Brodie is at his best when he's rushing up the ice with the puck, or joining the rush as the extra man. That's something Wotherspoon just can't do.

It's true that Brodie is more of a rushing type of defender. The similarity I see is how they take the ice they are given. Both respond well to more ice, and more responsibility. That's the kind of similarity I see. They'd actually be a good pairing because of Wotherspoon's defensive acumen and Brodie's offensive edge.
